Starting in January we will begin a new series accompanied by a small group study on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 entitled Winning the War In Your Mind.
“Our thoughts are powerful. They change our perspective, impact our decisions, and influence our habits. But what do we do when we become trapped by our thoughts, unable to escape negative and unhealthy thinking? Let’s learn what it means to take our thoughts captive and win the war in our minds.”
Book available to go with the study written by Craig Groeschel, Winning the War In Your Mind.
On December 29th, we will not have a live service that Sunday. Our services will be featured here on our website or Facebook and YouTube. Please join us there.
We believe that real spiritual growth and life transformation do not happen in rows. They happen in circles. We would love to connect you to a small group. We have groups for all ages and stages of life. If you are interested in joining the new Winning the War In Your Mind group or one of our available groups, please click the button below and let us know. One of our team members or Pastors will reach out to help connect you to the group that is right for you.
Fill out a connect card, join us in prayer, or make a gift. God gave us our gifts so we can help our neighbors, love those around us, and build his kingdom. We would love for you to get involved and want to help you along that journey.

We believe that god created the world and everything in it. The same god who created you and me wants to have a personal relationship with you.
It starts with Jesus.
No matter what you believe about Jesus, most would agree that Jesus changed things. When jesus came onto the scene, he changed everything. He wants to change you, too.
Jesus said, "i am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."
John 14:6-7
Jesus claimed that if you knew him, then you knew his father. The creator of the universe created you on purpose and with a purpose. He loves you, and he wants to help you because he is a good god. He wants to have a relationship with you. He has plans for your life that are better than your plans. You don't have to measure up to some impossible religious standard or be perfect to know him. You just have to take a few simple steps.
"if you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is lord,' and believe in your heart that god raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Romans 10:9
You don't have to have it all together to accept jesus. Jesus came to earth, died on the cross, and rose from a grave, conquering death and defeating sin so that you and i can have a relationship with him and the father. He took all of your wrongs and gave you all of his rights. You don't need to be perfect to accepted by jesus. If you believe that jesus came, died, and rose again and commit to following him, your life will never be the same. It is as simple as repenting of your sin, declaring you want to follow Jesus, and believing he is who he says he is.
Believing in Jesus is the first step in your journey with him. The best is yet to come as you take your next steps in your journey with Jesus.
"Therefore, if anyone is in christ, the new creation has come: the old has gone, the new is here."
2 Corinthians 5:17
We are excited that you want to serve.
Matthew 25
“And he who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five talents more, saying, ‘master, you delivered to me five talents; here i have made five talents more.’ his master said to him, 'well done, good and faithful servant.'”
God gave each of us special talents, interests, and passions. These gifts can fill our lives with happiness and help us prosper. However, they were never meant for us to keep and hide. God gave us our gifts so we can help our neighbors, love those around us and build his kingdom. Using these gifts, we can let God's glory shine through us. What gifts were you given? How can you use them to serve God's kingdom?
All our volunteers working with children and youth undergo background checks and our Nazarene Ministry Safe training program.
Please let us know where you would like to serve.
We believe that life is better together and that growing doesn’t occur in rows. We learn in rows, but we grow in circles. We hope you will join us in life by joining a small group. If you want to take that next step, click the “join a group” button below
We believe baptism is an essential part of our spiritual journey. It is our way of publically and personally declaring our association with Jesus.
Baptism is not salvation, but it is evidence of salvation. If you are interested in participating in baptism, let us know.
We offer all forms of water baptism and will accommodate you however possible.
How to Make the Best Investment
WE BELIEVE THE GREATEST INVESTMENT A PERSON CAN MAKE WITH THEIR MONEY IS TO INVEST IN THE LOCAL CHURCH.
M1 Church believes that we are stewards in this world and everything we have has been given to us by God and belongs to God. We are stewards, or managers, of the things God has allowed us to steward. When we manage our money and resources the way God wants us to, it is life-changing.
How to make a budget
GET YOUR STUFF TOGETHER
Gather your bills, personal expenses, loans, receipts, tax information, and check stubs
SET A DATE
Plan a time to sit down and deal with the situation. Make a time when you are free from distraction and can sit with a calculator to assess the situation
Membership is a loaded term that we think has a lot of unfortunate connotations. When you think of membership, you might think of something you pay into to have certain rights or privileges. That is a poor representation of what church membership is and should be.
Membership is more like ownership. It comes with many privileges, but it also comes with the responsibility of faithfully stewarding the church facility, the ministry, the staff, the pastor, and all of God’s blessings.
We do believe church membership at M1 Church is important. If you are interested in becoming a member, let us know.
We believe missions are an important part of spreading the hope of Jesus to the world.
We support many missionary efforts throughout the U.S. and worldwide through church planting with Seth & Maggie Neal and Seth & Kendra Baron. We also support our former staff members, now missionaries in Africa, Todd & Nikki Owens.
Follow them on their website.
Baby dedication is a joyous occasion in the life of the church. If you are interested in having your baby dedicated, fill out the three-question form, and we will contact you.
It would be impossible to have a good relationship with someone that we never spoke to. This is also true in our relationship with God. As we pour our lives into the Scriptures, God pours into us. This is where we hear Him speaking His heart, His plans, and His desires for our life.
In the Bible you can find rest, healing, encouragement, wisdom, practical advice, personal guidance, and hope. The Bible is powerful and relevant to everyone, everywhere, at any time. If you want to know more about God and His plans in your life then reading the Bible is your next step. Check out one of our reading plans.
